Doc Friuli Grave With an output of over 380,000 HL, the zone "Friuli Grave" DoC takes first place of the DoC zones of the Region. It accounts for 55% of the total production. Not many years ago, the red wines were preponderant over the white, but in the last decade wine production has moved to a greater extent in the direction of the latter as a quite natural development and also for a environmental predisposition. The market, however, also appreciates the production of red wines which do not shrink from comparison with others more loudly proclaimed.	The white wines are fresh, fruity, elegant and do not weary the palate with strong, excessive smells and aromas. The red wines are balanced, full-bodied, scented when young, structured when aged. If, on the one hand there exist multiple varietal distinctions in our wines, on the other it has to be noted that the different varieties cultivated have their own characteristics that distinguish one from the other. In "Le Grave", as in the totality of the viticulture of Friuli, the wine bears the name of the grape which gave rise to it.
