The
Farm Vigneti Le Monde The farm is situated in a meander of the Rivers Livenza and Meduna in the locality Le Monde, name of a German root: "Mundio". This word was used in the past to indicate a territory under the protection and the direct control of the Austrian Emperor. The location is characteristic and typical of the oldest western Friuli farms. This because this territory was under the rule of the Republic of Venice, which considered it not only an area with beautiful landscapes, but also as a real agricultural economic investiment, thanks to the many navigable rivers. In the farmhouse of the 18th century, untouched in its architectural from, are situated the offices, the rooms reserved to the Wine-tasting (one of these is an old kitchen with the "fogher": a fireplace typical of the Friuli and Veneto country houses) and the chais with oak barrels and barriques where the wine ages. |
